Really fruity aroma of peach, citrus, and cherry with a nice wheaty backbone. Flavor is also nice and fruity, reminiscent of a wit-beer, but stronger and more complex with nice coriander. Some citrus hops in the back. Fairly thick palate with a slightly dry finish. swoopjones (1897), Buffalo, New York, USA

Golden orange pour with lots of seed casings or some type of floaters. Aromas of coriander, orange, marmalade, honey. Great mouthfeel & taste. Again with the orange & marmalade. Very well put together. WOW. Possiblly top 10 agl108 (503), Manayunk, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 22, 2008 12 oz. bottle at Flat Rock Saloon, unknown date. Poured hazy orange with virtually no head. Sweet, citrus, yeasty nose. Tasted like a well-loaded wit; tons of coriander and sweet citrus flavor. Perhaps a bit too malty. Appeared mildly undercarbonated. Disappointing. blankboy (3198), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Pours a hazy orange with an average size diminishing white head. Very nice aroma of biscuity malt, Belgian yeast, wheat, spices and plenty of fruit. Delicious flavour of citrus fruit, spices and yeast. Alcohol’s completely hidden. Great body. Like an amped-up Saison, I friggin’ loved it! imadeadguy (378), back in NJ!, New Jersey, USA
| 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 3/5 | 7/20 | Mar 15, 2008 Pours cloudy amber/orange with fizzy orange/white head. Strong aromas of orange, sugar, and alcohol. Flavors of oranges, candy, and strong alcohol finish. Terrible beer imo, down the drain this one went. MrEcted1 (144), Wheat Ridge, Colorado, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Mar 15, 2008 A very nice strong wit that will sneak up on you because it’s so easy to drink. This beer is absolutely beautiful to look at. It doesn’t have much of a head, but it shouldn’t. A very opaque orange hue that reminds me of sunburst colors you might see on a beautiful Les Paul guitar. Oranges, coriander pull through nicely along with lemon zest. Very refreshing. A good high gravity beer that could be consumed in the summer. beerbill (1940), Laurel, New York, USA

I have to say this beer was a complete and utter disappointment for me and was just about a drain pour. It pours a hazy orange gold with a very thin head that quickly mutated into a white film. Strong aroma of coriander and rotting oranges. The smell reminds me of when I get a box of oranges and I open the box and I can immediately tell there is a broken orange inside the box by the perfume that rises from the box. This beer is much the same. The flavor is coriander and sweet, almost sickly sweet, quickly followed by rotting oranges. The orange flavor leaves a stale aftertaste in my mouth lastiing well beyond the swallow. Bleck. tupalev (2611), Waterloo, Ontario, Canada
| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Mar 14, 2008 Bottle shared with Hogtown Harry and Blankboy, Blankboy’s bottle (thanks for sharing!). Great appearance - wonderful hazy orange, I do not think I have seen this exact colour on a beer before. Great aroma - yeasty, malt, floral, spice, orange zest. Taste is also very good - soft tingly mouthfeel, lots of zest, lemon, floral spiciness - stunning. Quenching. Like a strong saison. Just about perfect.
