| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 28, 2008 Bottled at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Clear golden, average head. Heavy coriander and banana aroma. Sweet, dense and full bodied. Notes of candy sugar and lemon grass, but most of all a concentrated flavour of orange marmelade. Powerful, but a bit sticky. Never quite figured why to make a fat ass witbier, but I quite like the beer. doubleo (1104), San Diego, California, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jan 25, 2008 Pours a cloudy orange color with a thinnish white head that hangs around for a bit. Not a huge nose to it. I get some citrus and some of the spices along with the that malty Belgian style beer smell. Tastes more malty than anything else. I get a little bit of the spice on the finish. Nice and sweet. Pretty crisp palate for a 9.0 brew. Coats the mouth just a bit. This brew reminds me alot of Stone’s VE04 which was awesome, so get some. radiomgb (1957), Peterborough, Ontario, Canada
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jan 24, 2008 Murky orange in colour, thin off-white coloured head, some light and patchy lacing. The aroma is spicy, some lemons, wheat, cloves and bananas. The flavour is of lots of coriander, orange citrus, heavy spice and noticable alcohol. Spicy mouthfeel, medium body, medium/high carbonation. Finishes long, spicy with some citrus. This was difficult at times, heavy on the spice, too much coriander for my liking. I was disappointed in this Anniversary beer from Bells. I would have preferred another stout actually.

Golden-orange color, a few yeast particles floating around. Poured with a short, white, quickly collapsing head (which was rather disappointing for a Belgian style). Definitely some spice and citrus in the nose, with strong traces of yeast, with a rather indiscernible hop aroma. Light and fruity in the mouth, crisp finish.
This one is quite reminiscent of the strong ales I had while working in Belgium, but leaning too much towards sweet than dry. topherh (899), Kearney, Missouri, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Jan 23, 2008 12 oz bottle pours a sparkling light orange. Aroma is yeasty and sweet. Flavor is bananas, sweet malts, oranges and spices. Like a Sparkling ale on steroids. troyc (1175), Lubbock, Texas, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jan 23, 2008 (Bottle) Pours an amber color with a white head. Aroma includes candy sugar, fruit, and caramel malts. Taste is slightly spicy, with wheat malt, coriander, and sweet vanilla. Interesting mix of spices and malts hides the alcohol content. Sticky, honey-like palate imparts a creamy finish. Below average carbonation. A pretty good (and interesting) beer. demdeac40 (240), Etowah, North Carolina, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 21, 2008 Pours a nice orange color with medium white head that hangs around for a little while. The nose is candied orange and spice. The flavor is more sedate than the nose would lead you to believe. It has your spice and the fruit is there also. It is a little hot and you can taste the 9%. Not bad.
