Commercial Description:
Batch 8000 is part of our commemorative series celebrating our progress with special brews. Our Batch 8000 is a special recipe to be brewed only once. It is a wheat ale spiced with Coriander, Orange Peel, and Paradise Seed. Best consumed fresh.
Editor’s Note. 9% is far above the abv range of a Belgian Wit Bier. Because we do not have the style "Imperial/Double Belgian Wit", this more closely fits as a Belgian Strong Ale.

Thanks Jason and Mike. Aggressivcely carbonated, yeasty-spicey treat with corriander, cloves and orange. Medium mouthfeel. Essentially a yeast play. I was expecting more but fine as a wit.

Makes an excellent beer bread... Holding one to try in a few years, although this one isn’t very age-worthy.

Bottle: Pours a hazy orange with a thin white head, fruity/citrus aroma, taste is a bit spiced, some citrus with a dry finish. Not bad but not great.

Bottle: Pours a murky orange body with light yellow edges. Large beige, bubbly head and thick sheets of lacing. Nose is rich with fruity sweetness, malts, spiciness, and yeast. Flavor is more malty with earthy and yeast notes. The fruitiness and citrus from the aroma is tamed, but the spiciness goes well with the earth and floral tones. Towards the end the orange peel lingers.

Loud psssst when I uncapped the brew. Thin head which dissipated quickly though. Light carbonation for a Belgian. Nice fruity aroma with some soft malts, pears, white grape and a hint of spices. Medium golden orange in color with lots of very fine floaters. Sweet flavor with plenty of alcohol up front. More fruit and soft malts. Some honey and light spice. Warms as it goes down. Finishes sweet and very smooth. A very good belgain.
