Commercial Description:
Batch 8000 is part of our commemorative series celebrating our progress with special brews. Our Batch 8000 is a special recipe to be brewed only once. It is a wheat ale spiced with Coriander, Orange Peel, and Paradise Seed. Best consumed fresh.
Editor’s Note. 9% is far above the abv range of a Belgian Wit Bier. Because we do not have the style "Imperial/Double Belgian Wit", this more closely fits as a Belgian Strong Ale.

Pour is avery nice hazy pumpkin loke color. Big white head and good lacing. Huge aroma of corriander, orange, more sweet fruits and spicy. Flavor is a boozy orange, with some spice. Full bodied and creamy.

Big thanks to Lowe1983 for this bottle. Creamy orange with a medium size off-white head. Aroma is fairly fruity. Sweet, oranges, spices, coriander, banana, and vanilla cream. Very inviting. Flavor is spices, oranges, pepper, yeast, vanilla, and a little malt. Finishes slightly sweet and peppery with the alcohol finally noticeable. Medium, nicely carbonated body. Superb beer. Awesome.

12 oz bottle - pours a dull, cloudy honey with a small beige head. Aroma bright coriander and orange up front, with a very "thick" smelling yeast presence. I don;t know what Paradise Seed is, but there is an unidentifiable (to my nose) spice in there, so I guess that’s it. Tastes like a Belgian Wit on steroids. Everything is pumped up - the spices, the yeast, even the hops, which certainly come through in the flavour. Ah, and there’s that 9% - hidden in the aroma, it creeps up in the flavour. Dry, citric/zesty finish. Superb offering from Bell’s.

Pours cloudy golden orange. Little but lasting white head.Lots of corainder smell in the nose. Slightly spicey/peppery taste with a belgian and orange malt background. Not my favorite style; pepper and beer don’t mix.

12oz. bottle. Enticing fruit and spice aroma, juicy, citric and complex with notes of fresh orange, honey, coriander, clove, soft wheat malts and brown sugar, along with wafts of peppery, medicinal alcohol, bubblegum, light phenols and an incense-like perfume. Cloudy glowing orange in color with a fading, fine head. Flavor profile is rather profoundly spiced, with strong accents of clove, coriander and pepper, paired with tart, juicy citrus and gentle sweetness, somehow providing a refreshing quality at 9% abv. Mouthfeel is gently prickly and warming, almost mentholated, with a fullish body. Gains touches of sweetness here and there as it warms. Pretty well-rendered, if not the near-epic milestones seen in the 6000 and 7000.

One whiff and I was a believer. Coriander, Orange Peel. Just like the label boasts, its all there! Incredibly balanced! Great mouthfeel! Some sweet notes blended seemlessly with bitter hop notes. I took a non craft beer enthusiast and made him a believer with just a sip of this powerful formula. Very thick and heavy. I loved the Belgian Wit notes. I would buy this again, if I can find it. Highly recommended!
