Savor 2014. Aroma of maple, chocolate. Medium light bitterness. Still never had a bad stout from Bell’s - ever.

Bottle at Savor. Kudos to Bells for bringing unique offerings to Savor. They never disappoint. This poured pitch black with roast, chocolate, and coffee aromas. Taste was more of the same, but sightly astringent and finished dry. Very enjoyable.

On tap at bells cafe. Black pour. Body is a bit thin for imperial sour but probably about right for 8.5%. Sweet an bitter. Didnt notice the honey or maple until I read the description but it is there maybe more honey than maple, honey probably gives it the sweetness.

Draft at Bells. Pours black with thick tan head. Aroma is coffee, chocolate. Taste is sweet, roasted malt, coffee, strong chocolate notes, hop bitterness. Not as balanced as the Expedition stout but a strong showing from Bells. Enjoyable.

Nice roasty imperial for winter time. Nose of roasted coffee. Hints of coffee, vanilla, and caramel. Small hints of alcohol on the backbone. On draft from eccentric cafe. Deep black pour with no head but a thin tan film.

Draft at Bells. Black with a light tan head. Both the aroma and taste had really nice caramel and dark roasted coffee notes. Really enjoyed this one.

Aroma is sweet hops, honeydew with some roasted malt. Appearance is black with a lightish brown head. Taste is sweet and hoppy, finishing like a stout. Mouthfeel is thick, soft carbonation. Overall, pretty good.

On draft at the Eccentric Café. The pour is a dark brown with a filmy head that leaves a decent lace. The aroma is hoppy, with a hint of roastyness and some chocolate notes. The flavor is pretty hoppy. The roast slowly moves in and then you're taken back by the dry hoppy finish that is a little more sought in an IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap at the source... Dark cola hue. Thin creamy light beige head... Aroma of molasses and cocoa with a mild roast perhaps touch of ash... Flavors of molasses with dark fruit and a mild roast quality. Slightly bitter finish. Full bodied, almost syrupywith adequate carbonation. Not bad but plenty of other ris to go for on top of this.
