On tap: The aroma consists of moderate maple, chocolate, molasses, and a touch of espresso. It’s a dark brown with no transparency and a small tan head that quickly fades to a minimal film outlined by a thin ring. There are some decent laced rings on the sides of the glass. The flavor starts with with moderate chocolate and lighter molasses. The finish has light-moderate maple syrup, light coffee, and nuts. It’s medium-full bodied with mild carbonation and a somewhat soft mouthfeel.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Tap at the source... Dark cola hue. Thin creamy light beige head... Aroma of molasses and cocoa with a mild roast perhaps touch of ash... Flavors of molasses with dark fruit and a mild roast quality. Slightly bitter finish. Full bodied, almost syrupywith adequate carbonation. Not bad but plenty of other ris to go for on top of this.
