Draft. Light honey and chocolate malt aroma. Dark chestnut with small head. Sweet chocolate caramel and barley malt flavor. Strong herbal hops finish. Very tasty - wish they’d bottle this one.

Like smelling a handful of cocoa nibs. Very smooth and chocolatey. It’s like drinking chocolate ice cream. Seems a bit more stout than imperial but if they bottle this I guarantee I’ll have more than one of these in the house. Very well done.

Aroma is sweet hops, honeydew with some roasted malt. Appearance is black with a lightish brown head. Taste is sweet and hoppy, finishing like a stout. Mouthfeel is thick, soft carbonation. Overall, pretty good.

Sample at Eccentric. Body is deep brown and supports little head. Aromas are weakly hinting at coffee and dark brown sugar. Flavor is lots of coffee and a little anise that picks up on the tail end. Finish is bitter and licorice like.

On draft at the Eccentric Café. The pour is a dark brown with a filmy head that leaves a decent lace. The aroma is hoppy, with a hint of roastyness and some chocolate notes. The flavor is pretty hoppy. The roast slowly moves in and then you're taken back by the dry hoppy finish that is a little more sought in an IPA.
