JustinFromAL (114), Birmingham, Alabama, USA Nov 7, 2009 Lager of the Lakes bottle. Soft gold pour, minimal white head. Aroma is crisp hop. Flavor is the same. beachbum25 (778), Powellville, Maryland, USA Nov 6, 2009 12 oz bottle-Batch 9250-Lager of the Lakes bottle-Light golden pour w/a slight white head. Grassy floral hop aroma. Pretty dry, grass/grain, bread dough/biscuit/toast, some citrus/lemon. Was really expecting a little more based on this brewers rep. Not really very refreshing...just too dry. Long bitter finish. ditmier (1023), Boise, Idaho, USA Nov 6, 2009 Batch 9250 - Thanks beachbum25! - Pours a clear golden with a small white head...aroma is grainy and grassy, lager skunk and a bit of bread...flavour is dry malt, old grain, lightly bitter and it lingers, not much to speak of beyond that... Trev (850), Lakeville, Minnesota, USA Oct 15, 2009 Pours a pale gold with a nice and lasting thick foamy white head.
Aroma is grassy hop, light lemon tones and some cracker/biscuity maltiness.
Flavour is again grassy hop dominating.
some biscuity malt tones. Light bitter finish.
shawnm213 (884), South Bend, Indiana, USA Oct 3, 2009 Bottle shared by Anand, Thanks! Lager. czech hops, crisp. ok, not great. JaBier (1130), Capital City, Ohio, USA Sep 29, 2009 Bottle of batch #8961 at the Winking Lizard Crosswoods location. Pours cloudy gold/orange with a huge white head. Malty aroma with a bit of citrus hop and very crisp. Crisp citrus hop flavor up front with a nice malt balance before a bitter finish. One of the better beers of this style I’ve had for sure. danielcurtis81 (879), San Diego, California, USA Sep 13, 2009 BPW #40
Served on tap at Kalamazoo Brewing Co./Eccentric Café. Appearance is light yellow gold with a thin white head. Light pale malts for flavor and aroma. Nothing too exciting but it is a lager.
awiseman01 (318), Indianapolis, Indiana, USA Sep 11, 2009 Dan’s Bachelor Party Extended Weekend Rating #35 of 90. On tap at the Eccentric Cafe in Kalamazoo. Pours cloudy yellow, has a light hop nose and a plae taste...just ok.
