4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 envane (494) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - NOV 10, 2010
Hazy yellow with big floaties in this bottle. Aroma of grass and citrus. Taste is dry, with piney hops and long bitter finish. Great American-style pilsener. "Premium Lager" my ass.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 StefanSD (1541) - Lakeside, California, USA - NOV 10, 2010
12 oz bottle courtesy of trade with manny57. Pours a translucent straw yellow color with a huge foamy white head that has great retention. The aroma is mild with spicy cereal grains and malts. The flavor is mild grains, yeast, biscuit and spicy hops. The palate is light and unsatisfying with soft carbonation. Finishes short with a bit of lingering saccharine sweetness. Overall: Good for a pale lager.
3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 sbanach (176) - USA - NOV 9, 2010
Poured from bottle. Smells grainy, fruity. Appearance is great. Yellow hue, frothy white head that doesn’t dissipate. Taste is light malt, mostly pils hops, palate is full mouth feel, slight fruity I can’t put my finger on. highly carbonated. Aftertaste is crisp and refreshing. No session brew, but great to sit around for a couple.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 Suttree (3759) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - OCT 31, 2010
This is another one of those "I can’t believe I haven’t rated this one" beers. Pretty basic -yellow, nice dense white head. Grainy, mildly hoppy aroma. Flavor is pretty much what the aroma promises - grain and light hops. Not a bad session beer.

Appearance: bright, clear sunny yellow with lots of bubbles. Aroma: sweet grains, maybe some honey, and mild hops. Taste: crisp, honeyed grains. Finish: short and clean. Notes: Delightful lager. Worlds better than the standard American version. Perfectly drinkable. Bell’s just rocks.

Clear, straw colored with a short white head that clings to the glass. German malt aroma, biscuit, noble hops, fresh cut grass. Medium-bodied, medium carbonation, dry finish. Biscuity and dry. A decent pilsner.
