Crushed with Jakebra. Consensus: poop on the nose. Very malty, with very hop bitterness in the finish. A Yogi the Bear beer: smarter than the average lager. Doesn’t mean much, but it’s something.

12 oz bottle as ’’lager of the lakes.’’ Pours clear, light yellow golden with a small, bubbly, white head that dissipates quickly. Remains moderately lacy with a decent swirl on the surface. Smells like a typical lager, except this is classified as a pilsener I guess. Some pale malts, sweetness, and light hoppiness. Taste is similar. Some added spiciness and honey to balance the mellow maltiness. Finishes slightly carbonated and yeasty with a mild lingering bitterness. Overall, not a bad brew. Balanced, plain, and nothing to write home about.

Gold lager pour. Citrus/pine aromas. Grainy malt flavors with Saaz hops. It is what it is supposed to be. Very clean finishing. Had this many years ago. I remember this being extreamly average, considering Bell’s standards. To be honest, the neatest thing about it is the bottle art.

12 oz, "Lager of the Lakes" version, batch 8654. Pale golden with a large and lasting head that covers the glass with frost. Aroma of lemongrass and grain is tempered with a bit of honey. Flavor is a nice mixture of the same, with some delicate dry-grass bitterness on the finish. Near-medium body is smooth with a nice tongue tingle and an almost crisp-dry finish.
