COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
As refreshingly crisp as a morning swim in a Great Lake, this brew is crafted with Pils and Munich malts. The pronounced hop character of this golden lager sparks thoughts of sandy beaches and rocky islands.

Pours clear straw-colored with a small white head. Aroma of clean malts and spicy, herbal hops. Full flavor features a strong malt character but balances toward surprisingly bitter hops. Medium bodied with moderately high carbonation. Pretty nice, relatively easy drinking pilsner though seems to be on the bitter side for the style.

Clear light golden in color with a thin head of fine bubbles. Aromas were of citrus, spice and herbs. In the mouth it is light to medium-bodied with lots of carbonation and a dry finish. Light and simple.

This Pilsner pours an orange gold color from a 12oz bottle. Small sized white foamy head. The aroma is cereal and grass, some hops. A medium bodied pilsner. The malts are fruity and sweet. The hops are spicy and a touch floral. Lively carbonation. Nice pilsner. Clean and crisp tasting. There are enough hops to balance the cereal malt. Would make a good summer session beer. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

A bit underwhelmed by this pils. A nice grassy nose, but lacking some crispness. Burlap in the finish. Okay, but weak compared to its stablemates.

This golden draft had a small head that laced very little. There is a typical malty lager aroma. The flavor is full and bready as one would hope and it has a crisp clean finish.

botte under the name of "lager of the lakes". small white head that quickly and fully dissapated into clear golden body. no lacing present. aromas of floral hops, touch of breadyness in finish. flavor is moderately bitter throughout. moderate finish duration. dry texture. okay pilsner.

Pours a crystal golden. Aroma is non-existent. Flavor is smooth but theres not much here. Interesting mouthfeel. No real malty or hoppy flavor. Not bad, but not great. Nothing special.

Bottled. This one was on my want list for at least two years, then suddenly two boxes arrive on the same day with it as an extra. Go figure. Super pale pour with a very fizzy head. Heavy filtration with only the slightest cloudiness left. Aroma is great, earthy, minty, spring water, pure clean and refreshing. Bristley, dry flavor, euro hops and a oddly sweet finish. Drinkabiliy is rather low for the style. A decent pils at best.
