| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jan 31, 2007 I had this under the "Lager of the Lakes" label. It’s a richer orange/yellow than most such beers, and there were some things I rather liked--the palate seemed creamy yet awake, and there was a moderately pleasant floral note, like heather or clove. It was drinkable with only a bit of a metallic note in the early-going. It was reasonably buttery, sweet, herbal. Not bad at all. The aroma was the weakest element. edfitz (117), Toledo, Ohio, USA

Light golden yellow color with a small foamy white head. Moderate amount of visible carbonation. Aroma is pale malt, light grassy hops, and a certain tanginess that I can’t put my finger on (most likely a characteristic imparted by the particular strain of yeast used). Great pils flavor is accompanied by a well constructed grassy and slightly spicy hop bitterness (mild to moderate bitterness overall). More and more great European-like Pilsner flavor seems to surface with each drink, so the overall flavor also gets better and better! Light and crisp on the palate. A good, easy drinkin’ Pilsner offering from a great brewery!

| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jan 15, 2007 Bottle, pours a clear golden color with a thick white head. Faint aroma of spicy hops (Saaz as the description says)> Pretty bland flavor, clean, but almost to clean, doesn’t seem to be alot going on. Much better than any macro-swill, but I wouldn’t drink this regularly. ogglethorp (890), Ohio, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jan 13, 2007 ottle. Pours clear goldne color, fairly large foamy white head. Aroma of toasted grain, slight floral hop. Flavor of cereal grain, malt, grass. Palate is medium bodied, medium carbonation, crisp finish. Nice stuff. detroiter (958), Euphoria, Minnesota, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jan 13, 2007 Pours a clear deep gold, topped by half an inch of white foam. The head is fed by steady carbonation. Okay retention, decent lacing. Moderate cereal grain in the aroma - a little sweet, a little floral hop, a little grainy.
Dry cereal grain malt flavor - grainy and dry and tart and tangy. Stronger than a generic macro with a combination of lightly bitter and lightly spicy hopping. Interesting blend of flavor. Almost medium body, quite crisp and clean - a nice job with the carbonation. A fair supply of lemon in the finish.
