COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A smooth, toasty brown ale, Best Brown Ale is a mainstay in our fall & winter lineup. With hints of caramel and cocoa, the malt body has the depth to stand up to cool weather, but does not come across as heavy. This balancing act is aided by the generous use of American hops.

Thick head when poured. Aroma was smooth. Brown, mahogany in color. Lightly sweet, medium bitterness. Medium body, creamy texture, lively carbonation and a nice bitter finish. I greatly enjoyed this beer.

Hazy dark amber pour with moderate bubbly light tan head. Nutty aroma with some caramel and bread present. Taste is light roasted malt and with some nuttiness and a touch of caramel sweetness. Finishes on a very slight bitter note. A fairly tasty brown ale, although a touch more hops on the nose and palate would have been welcome.

pours a hazy milk chocolate brown with nice foamy white head. A lively hoppy nose, a bit of nuttiness on the palate, very easy drinking. Nice Ale.

Bottle. Aroma: Strong blueberry, banana, scents of bread and caramel, slight chocolate. Appearance: Dark, cloudy brown with lasting, tan, frothy head. Taste: Sweet, fruity, notes of plum and berries, and surprisingly light, with slight bitter finish. Palate: Light to medium body, slick texture, average carbonation, long and slightly bitter finish. The aroma is a bit too intense, but the flavor is great and it is drinkable for a dark beer. A pleasant Brown Ale.

Medium dark amber color with a light tan head that dissipated quickly. Nutty aroma. Nut and caramel start with a fruity hop finish.
