Yum! Bell’s really makes some great beers! Cloudy brown/amber color. Creamy head malty taste and slightly bitter finish. I really like this beer and need to have a few more

Blah. and way too much tin and metallic flavors here. Seems like Bells is hit and miss with me. Ill pass on this one in the future.

July 2006 - Not every Bells beer can be a home run, ok. Clear brown color, moderate head. Caramel flavor, touch of roast, but a bit watery and bland. Drab example of a drab style.

12 oz. bottle via trade with TURDFERGUSON - Pours a light brown color with a 1/2 finger thick off white head that faded pretty quick. Aroma is caramel malt and esters (cherries). Flavor is a sweet caramel malt. Light to medium body. Nothing fancy. Just an easy drinking Brown. Thanks Sam

Nice nutty smell. Great brown amber color with a thick beige head. Nice earthy flavor, malty but nothing extra special. Medium body and overall a good beer.

Pours brown (big shocker), with a pretty thick light brown head if you give it a good pour. Nice, sweet aroma...very malty with the slightest hints of molasses and caramel in there. Flavor is smooth caramel malts with some balancing hops in there. Slight bitterness late in the palate gives way to a clean, sweet finish and aftertaste. A touch of tobacco at the end as well. Good body and slightly oily on the palate. A quality version of the style by Bells.

Had this on tap. I was disapointed, the beer looked good, but was just a little lackluster for Bells. Nice and malty, but somewhat dry for the style.

Bottle from local store. Description is dead on. Rich malty taste but finishes very dry and smooth. Very good offering from Bells, one of my favorite breweries.
