COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A smooth, toasty brown ale, Best Brown Ale is a mainstay in our fall & winter lineup. With hints of caramel and cocoa, the malt body has the depth to stand up to cool weather, but does not come across as heavy. This balancing act is aided by the generous use of American hops.

Slight mixture of red and brown colouring, depending on the light around youl, generally pleasing to the eye. Mild bitterness, distinct taste of bread for some strange reason, but still pleasing.

Poured a reddish-muddy-brown; medium to small white head. Aroma was light; caramel and nutty. Good for the style, just don’t like the style. Lightly sweet malt. Minimal hops. Nutty. Easy enough to drink, but very bland for me.

Soonah (1120) - Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA - FEB 8, 2007
Poured a caramelly brown that was slightly cloudy. The head was one finger, off-white and a little bit fluff. Decent lacing. The aroma was a bit on the thin side, a bit of roasted malt came through, but that was about it. The flavor was roasted malt, a hint of sweetness (I wish I had tasted more) and slightly bitter finish. Decent.
