Made from mostly pale malt and some Munich and caramel malts. These add a little sweetness, which is balanced by more hops. The result is a rich color and fruity flavor.

12 oz bottle with dinner. Enjoying how easy it is to get Bells around here. It’s an afterthought, but back home it would be welcomed nicely. Much more artistic bottle than the site provides. Clear copper pour with a patchy head. Big time bready malts, and a refreshing finish. Well made amber for sure. I think I’ll have another.

Bottle. Pours copper with a sticky white head. Aromas of sweet malt and earthy hops. Flavors are toasty malt, earthy hops, bitter citrus and slight herbal tones. Clean mouthfeel. Soft carbonation. Decent.

So nice to have you in Nebraska, Bell’s. Won’t you settle in for a while? Amber pours, uh, amber with an off-white head. It smells like caramel, forest hops, and citrus. It all carries through into the flavor with some added notes of berry and toasty biscuit malt. Medium-bodied, crisp, and slightly creamy. This is a time-honored Amber and it’s for good reason.

Bell’s Amber Ale has a thick, off-white head, an amber appearance, lots of bigger and tinier tan yeast chunks, throughout,, and minimal lacing left on the glass. The aroma is of sweet, honey-topped, brown bread and a touch of lemon. Taste is of those elements, with some background stone fruit skin and relatively low bitterness. Mouthfeel is high medium (almost heavy) and fluffy, and Bell’s Amber Ale finishes in the dry realm. RJT

Flaska fråm Mikkeller webshop. Torr, men ganska väl anonym men annars välgjord amber. Tydlig kolasmaker, mjuk, rund, lätt beska. Trevlig.

Aroma is caramel, sweet, earthy hops, basic. Appearance is amber, light tan head, slightly hazy. Taste is a mix of caramel malt and earthy hops, neither outdoing each other, very balanced. Mouthfeel is medium body, light carbonation, caramel hops aftertaste. Overall, this is great for the style.
