The Holy Grail of BBA Stouts. Words cannot do this beer justice, so Iím not even going to try.
Each bottle should come with a new pair of underwear.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle share thanks to Homer321. Pours a deep dark thick black syrupy with light brown head. Big boozy nose, lots of oak and barrel character, molasses, chocolate, very complex. Thick and boozy. Oaky, mor molasses and caramel flavor, follows with chocolate. Very tasty beer!

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
Bottle thanks to Andrew. Pours black with smallish beige head. The nose on this one is oak barrel, vanilla extract, bourbon spice, and slight cinnamon doughnut. The taste is straightforward and excellent, with dark chocolate, roasted coffee bean, slightly drying oak, and sweet bourbon. Everything in balance, well done.

At last! Iíve been wanting to try this brew for so long! On tap, jet black pour with a tan head. Aromas of bourbon, chocolate, oak, coffee, and nice roasted malts. Flavor is nice bourbon/caramel at first with chocolate and oak in the finish. So good! Abv is very well-hidden and itís so smooth on the palate. Definitely lives up to the hype! A truly great beer and one of the best impy stouts Iíve ever had.

4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
Had this in tap at Al's if hampden for a tap takeover last month. Pour is black as night, has a off white head about one finger high. Nose is of sweet chocolate, and huge bourbon notes. Also pick up some radiated coffee and malt. Taste doesn't disappoint. Huge sweet bourbon that is nice. Alcohol is there but doesn't overpower. Very very good. Would love to get a bottle to lay back sometime.

12 oz. bottle 2012 vintage. Great appearance. Nose is fantastic. Light bourbon over day old coffee and cream, dark sweet chocolate and subtle vanilla oak. Snap!! This sat just long enough. No bourbon alcohol burn, just sweet and smooth all the way down. Of course need I mention the rich cocoa, dry roasted malts, brownie matter and subtle oak? Should I also explain the full body with an oily texture that screams take another sip? I like to age all my BBA stouts about a year in time. This has been one of the best examples I have tasted. The bourbon and roasted flavor linger ridiculously long after the sip. Down.... Right.... Bad.... Ass. Nothing else to state here.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Woot! Hex kbuddddddd. Smells incredible. White choco, licorice faded away almost totally, sweet spice is mild, light soy sauce, deep roasted oats, excellent choco, wonderfully oaky and vanillaeee, borderline melted brown sugar. Finally had to succum to drinking this. Melted medium choco of good sweetness and balanced bitterness, coconut, vanilla, suckable nose burn, mellow oak, slight caramel or toffee or whatever, heavy roast that is not remotely sweet. Enjoyable all around. Excellent brew.
