Aroma is light, hoppy, grapefruit and pine. Appearance light, orange/yellow with white head. Taste is sweet grapefruit, like a sugared grapefruit, light bitter finish. The mouthfeel is nice, soft carbonation and not sticky. Overall, a pretty decent brew.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a pale golden color, very clear, with a big white head and good lacing on the glass.
The aroma is doughy and yeasty with some bright fruit, some melon and some raw grain. Hoppy smelling but not as much as maybe it could be given the flavor.
The flavor is very nicely bitter, plenty of citrus rind and fruit forward hops. Grassy tasting in a nice way, with plenty of floral bitterness. Very dry with only a touch of clean malt character. Not nearly as yeasty tasting as the aroma lets on. Very simple and very delicious.
Somewhere between a classic American Pale Ale and a Pale Dry West Coast IPA, gets the a lot of things about those two styles just right. Results on this one seem mixed, both on the site here and with folks I’ve spoken with locally. But I think this is right up my alley.

Big white head and banana aroma. Flavor has wintergreen notes with strong grapefruit taste from the hops. Not my favorite combination of flavors.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draft at Taps 25, Lansing. Cloudy light yellow-straw body, thin off-white head. Light grassy nose. Bitter body, grassy and herbal with spicy notes and just a touch of citrus peel. Like a pilsener crossed with a pale ale; dry, well-carbonated, and bitter.

Draft to pilsner at Bell’s. Looks plod; a transparent gold with white lacing. Smells and tastes solid; lightly hopped some sweetness and a nice, dry finish. A good example of the style.
