Ungstrup (11692), Frederiksberg, Denmark May 3, 2006 A pitch black beer with a thin brown head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of hops, but also light alcoholic notes. The flavor is sweet with light notes of cherries, and a slight acidity lingering in the back ground. Papsoe (11030), Frederiksberg, Denmark May 9, 2006 (Bottle 35,5 cl) Pours completely black and opaque with a light brown head. Vinous, lightly tart aroma. Medium-bodied, some burned, malty accents and a fruity tartness. The cherries don’t really reveal themselves. 300406 omhper (10950), Stockholm, Sweden Mar 4, 2002 A rich, potent stout flavoured with sour cherries. Roasty with licquoriuce flavour and a well balanced flavour of tart cherries. I really like it!
