Pours a very dark muddy brown and settles into a deep black oily color with a thin tan head. Aroma is of dark roasted malt nd chocolate. Smooth and slick mouthfeel. Cherries, dark chocolate, coffee, and dark malts. Very tart. Like a good stout and a kriek combined. A really good beer.

Bottled at Akkurat, Stockholm. Pours out in a opaque black colour with a small pale brown head. Rich, full and fat aroma of toasted malts, cocoa, butter, black coffee, cream, crackers and tart cherries. Nearly full-bodied with notes of chocolate cake, nuts, coffee and cherry-skins. Long, full, smooth and lasting finish of tart cherries and black cherries. Really tasty, I just love the stouts from Bells.

@ Eulogy... Poured black with a merangue-like light brown head. Aroma was mostly heavy coffee. Flavors are strong coffee with a tart cherry finish. Very smooth and creamy.

Dark smokey chocolate, coffee, toffee and some tart cherry in the finish. Thick and chewy mouthfeel, like a good port. Very good.

an opaque pitch black liquid with a small tan head. lots of sediment. dark chocolate aroma with a hint of cherry medicine. dark chocolate and coffee flavors with a touch of cherry. the tartness of the cherry shows up more than the actual flavor of the cherry which is probably a good thing. full bodied with a slick-oily texture. the sourness is cool. different.

In short: A black-forest cake in a bottle. Absolutely delicious and drinkable in very large quantities. Underrated.
How: Bottle 12oz from elmatador00, thanks a lot James
The look: Black body with a small tan head
In long: Lots of chocolate cake and quite a bit of cherries sourness. Feels light and ends up ridiculously drinkable. Slim but creamy and very pleasant body with lots of bubbles. A little milky/ice-cream notes. A little pineapple acidity makes it even more drinkable. Really I don’t know what else to say than this is the closest thing to a black-forest cake in a bottle, a flavour that us cheese-noodles eating beer-geeks are not accustomed to.

The beer purs a dark black with a tan head. Aroma is of coffee and chocolate. Beer tastes tart at first but has a cherry finish. Not much to say great beer that I hope to be drinking more of!
