Nice color. My favorite Christmas ale of the bunch. Not too spicy. Plain and simple ale for winter.

Bottle that I saved to have on Christmas. Pours a dark cloudy copper. Taste is sweet caramel malt, some alcohol with a slight bitterness. Less hops than a pale, but the rest of the character the same.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Pours a hazy light brown beer with a medium sized off white, creamy head on top. Aroma is fairly herbal, loads of malts and a decent amount of vanilla. Flavor is medium sweet with touches of cinnamon and licorice and slight caramel. Vanilla is present in the back with a herbal, buttery aftertaste. Decent beer, not all that impressed by it however.

12oz bottle into pint glass. Minneapolis.
Pours copper with white head. Aroma is Christmas spices, malt. Taste is mildly sweet and bitter. Body is light-medium. Short finish. Crisp. Overall, not the best Christmas ale ever. Spices are a little weak as is body. Great Lakes makes a better version.
