A good brew to start off autumn beer season with. Pours amber brown with a decent beige head. The nose is malty as is the flavor with the support of caramel and molasses. Another interesting beer from Bells, give it a go.

Pours a reddish clean clear color with slight head that dissipates quickly, can tell the carbonation is lively however. Aroma is sweet, weak plum, rich apricot, heavy molasses, caramel, and brown sugar. Taste is very balanced and heavy malt. Notes of caramel, bready, and a very light bitter on the end balances very well. Great typical doppelbock.

Flaska fråm Mikkellers webshop. En riktigt rejäl maltbomb till vetebock med den där lätta maltsyrligheten som hör till. Russin, rågbröd, lite bärig och aningen kryddig. Riktigt trevlig.

Pours a deep rich reddish brown with a thin off white ring. Light carbonation and some lacing. Some lightly sweet malts but the aroma isn’t very strong. Medium body. Fairly smooth texture with a light malty flavor. Pretty simple and not very remarkable. Not bad but somewhat plain and lacking in flavor. OK

Clear dark ruby-amber pour with a very thin beige head. Very sweet, with notes of prunes, raisins, caramel. Lacks bitterness, carbonation and the mouthfeel isn’t that great, either. The alcohol is a bit too present in the aftertaste. Overall, not a good beer.
