On tap at the brewery. Pours cloudy yellow with little or no head. THIS IS NOT A MEAD by the way. I agree with the former posts. The tangy sour puckery palate smacks you in the face pretty quickly. Strong apple flavor. A couple gulps was enough for me...

Light yellow pour...no head. Sweet apple aroma. Light texture and mouthfeel. Very tart/sour fruitiness in flavor...like hard apple cider gone "off". Maybe a hint of honey.

Cyser was available at the cafe throughout the summer. Golden color, quite fizzy. Aroma of apples. Taste is quite sour, to put it this way: I didn’t know that mead was mixed in until I was told.

On tap at Bells 20th anniversary party. A orange gold color with a very thin fizzy head. Nose is very sweet apples and has a winey dryness to it. Taste is very tart and sour and dry. all at once it seems. Your lips pucker and your cheeks cave in from the sourness.

on tap at the 20th anniversary party. was immediately not a fan. sour and lactic smell, and it was ultra sparkling dry--unlike others, i noticed tons of alcohol, mostly isopropyl and jet fuel. not worth seeking out....

On tap at Bells 20th Anniversary Party. Cloudy yellow body, thin off-white head. Aroma of apple cider and light honey, on the sweet side. Unfortunately, this was vinegary, sour, and thin. "Pissy apple cider" is one of the comments I wrote down that seems most appropriate. There is very little in the way of honey character. I didn’t detect too much of the alcohol, but perhaps a hint here or there would have cut through the weak apple juice/urine notes. Not recommended.

A mead and cider mixture available at the brewery. The color was light gold with no head. The aroma was bright and fresh with Godlen Delcious apples and a hint of the earthy mead. There were also flowers. The taste was Sweet Tarts with some Granny Smith apples. The sour cider blows the mead away in taste. This also tastes of tart cherries and tobacco. This is ceratinly interesting, but could use a stronger mead character.
