Bottle, no batch number. Smells and tastes like Amber ale with a good malt and hops flavor. Some pepperiness in the background. I guess it does taste mildly better than an Amber Ale, but then again Ive had more than a few beers at this point.

12oz bottle thanks to northernbrews, thanks Jeff! Pours a clear reddish amber with a nice white head, the aroma is slightly musty with a decent malt profile, the flavor is a little off in the finish, could be because it’s a pretty old bottle. Glad I got to try this.

10/21/11. 12oz bottle courtesy cbfobes through northernbrews! Slightly hazy amber pour, plenty of red under the light, with a small, frothy head that fades and laces a little bit. Musty, malty aroma with bread, caramel, a bit of orange peel, and a touch of sour. Slightly musty, malty flavor with flowers, grass, and a bit of citrus. This is obviously old, but I’m definitely glad to have tried it!

12oz bottle, thanks to ryan. Pours an amber color with a finger or so of head. Aroma has some malt and a touch of hops, very good for an 18 month old amber ale. Taste has much more going for it than I anticipated, has a nice mild blend of bitter hop, malt and citrus. Finish is smooth. If this were a lesser beer it would taste like cardboard by now, but it’s held up well.

Bottle from lampeno. Thanks man! Nice malty sweetness in the nose, some mustiness, light hay, some caramel. Taste is relatively dry, some caramel, light dark fruit, just a touch of citrus remains; bitterness is fairly light. Finishes with a touch of ice tea and cola. Like most Bells stuff, this has really held up well, and while probably not as enjoyable as it was when fresh was very interesting and I’m glad I got to try it.

Hazy orange brown pour with a thin white head. Fresh smelling malt aroma with caramel and nuts. Caramel flavor with with herbal notes. Slight sweetness. Not bad, even after being a year old.

Bonus bottle from lampeno. Thanks so much! Light amber pour. Light malts, light hops, cereal sweetness and hints of nuts on the nose. Flavor is light and smooth. Nutty around the edges with a balancing dose of hops. Easy to drink and pretty good.

Bottle : The aroma contains moderate caramel, light citrus, and a hint of sourness. It pours a slightly hazy amber with moderate sediment and small soapy off-white head. The flavor starts with some light caramel up front. The finish has some muted citrus hops. Medium bodies with light carbonation.

So, this isn’t just another repack job of the amber? Guess ill crack a bottle and not save them as novelty beers for 50 years. Drank on 3-24-09. Looks like the amber when poured, except for the heavy sediment amount in the body of the beer. Full head that quickly fades. I think its hoppy-er than the amber, with no alcohol. Somewhat dry finish. Pretty good.

Bottle. I am a little suspicious as to whether this is a repackage job, but here goes... Pour is a slightly hazy deep amber and head is a little better than a finger of dense beige foam at first. Aromas have a bit of a peppery edge to them with some sweet malt and a little touch of floral hops. Flavor revolves around a nice and full malt presence and branches out into a little bit of a peppery hops. If I had to guess, I would say this is a Bells Amber Ale that has maybe been less filtered.
