3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
From notes. On tap at the Eccentric Café on June 13. The pour is a dark coppery amber with a thin ring of white head and no real lacing. The aroma is strong on clove, malt and yeast. A good bready maltiness dominates, but isn’t as overbearing as I would imagine. The flavor is bursting with the typical Belgian style. Clove, yeast and bready malt to the max. The mouth feel is nicely aided by the carbonation and clings pretty nicely. The aftertaste is definitely bready and lingering

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Tap sample. Poured clear brown color with an average fizzy tan head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate toasted sweet malt and yeast aroma. Medium body with smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium well balanced sweet flavor with a medium complex sweet finish of moderate duration. Good brew.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draft to taster at the Eccentric Cafe. Looks decent; ore like a Tripel though. A slightly cloudy golden orange with white head that steadily dissipates into lacing. Smells yeasty and fruity with a bit of sweetness from the malt. Tastes like it smells, but more bittersweet. Average on the palate. Not bad.
