Type 366 – Tropical fruit notes and piney, reminiscent of Simcoe hops.

Sample at the brewpub. The beer pours a clear orange-amber color with a medium thin off-white head that recedes quickly to an outer ring. Spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma of bready malt and citrus. Medium body with a citrusy hops character and flavors of caramel malt and butterscotch. The finish is fruity with a mildly bitter hops aftertaste. Decent overall.

Second in a series of pale ales from Bells. Not real impressed. Tastes like eating a stick of butter. And bread. There you go.
