Bottle shared with thewolf. Thanks a bunch for sharing this one René! Bottle. Pours a totally bitch black colour with a medium creamy brown head leaving a very good thick lacing. Lovely aroma of dark chocolate indeed with coffee, roasted malt and bitter hops. Great mouthfeel. The flavour has very good profund creamy chocolate, good roasty maltiness, dark fruits, bitter hops, nut and some alcohol. Very good long lasting finish with chocolate, roasted malt and some alcohol. A mother of a stout indeed!

3rd LCRBM. Licorice, apple and roast in the aroma. Sugary sweet roasted flavor with grapes. Licorice in the aftertaste. Good, but not a world classic.

A Mes rate: ***RE-RATE*** A Mes rate: Batch 7205 bottle at Chris_O’s HogTownHarry minifest. Big thanks to Harry. Not sure what was wrong with the bottle I had at Chris’s Shindig but the 3 times I have had this since have convinced me this needs a re-rate. Brown but almost black with a slight rim of tan. Lovely chocolate malt aroma with really nice hops. Excelent roasty flavour with a long long bitter finish. Actually the bitterness throughout is utterly fantastic. Thick and luxurious palate. An awesome impy stout. ***ORIGINAL NOTES*** (Score: 7, 4, 7, 4, 15 = 3.7) Bottle at Chris O’s shindig. Black with a good tan head. Big fat and way overweight. Roasty, malty, coffee chocolate and huge huge alcohol. Coffee finish that has an odd acidic almost sour note to it. Good but rather over rated in my opinion.

Bottle. [shared with faroeviking @ Plan B. Thanks to drmatt for this wonderful brew!]
Pours "bitch"-black as Jacob and I agreed. A Medium creamy brown head on top. Extreme amount of lacing. Wonderful aroma, coffee, loads and loads of chocolate and a slight hoppyness at the back. Thick, sticky creamy mouthfeel. Complex flavour. Sweet, cream, roasted, lots of chocolate. A good dose of hops without ever going bitter. Some nuts as well. Power and stunning balance!

(Bottle) Pours a black color with a thin tan head, which dissipates quickly. Excellent chocolate, malt, and coffee flavor.

Poured a dark black with an averaged sized brown head. Aromas and tastes of mocha chocolates, roasted malts, and light bitter coffee. This is one good tasting beer. Alcohol content well hidden. Smooth and easy to drink. Gotta get some of this one...
