On tap at Eccentric Café. Hazy amber with a thin creamy tan head. Aroma of light noble hops, faint roasted malt and some floral hops too. A touch thin with mild noble and floral hops, sweet malt and weak bitterness.

Tap sample. Poured clear copper color with an average frothy off-white head that lasted with good lacing. Moderate to heavy floral resin hop aroma. Moderate to heavy bittersweet flavor with a moderate to heavy bittersweet finish of medium duration. Medium to full body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Very good brew that exceeded my expectations.

On tap at Bell’s Eccentric Cafe. Tropical fruit nose, pretty nice, though a little faint. Hazy amber in the glass. Has a creamy taste, with moderate hop notes. Decent, but not as good as the "non-experimental" beers I tried there.

Sampled from the tap at the brewpub. Pours a near clear orange with a tan head that dissipates to the edges andlaces slightly. Aroma has earthy grass and floral hops with backing light grain and hay. Flavor starts with light grain and flora with a growing light citrus and earthy hop note.

Wow - full bodied and boozy. Really focuse on the hop here - just a faint pale malt sweetness to back it up. Delicious but heavy.

Draft pour on tap at the brewpub shared with a friend (Kalamazoo, MI). Pours a rich hazy amber pour, big glowing pour with glowing sunny edges, a decent frothy brighter white head sits atop. Laces small. Aromas are gentle dry bitter hops, more earthy with lemony kicks, gentle florals, touches of pale malts, bread, and faint biscuit. Clean. Initial is lighter end of the fold, with some decent to middling dry floral and lemony hops, picking up more in taste than nose. Dry front shows some touches of pale malts, bread, and flaked wheat. Finish is more touches of lemon, dry hops, mellow bread dough. Pleasant pale ale with some earthy and gentle citrus, faint tropical elements. Nice. A bit strong.

Great body and white head that retains. Very tropical in the taste but harder to smell. Maybe simcoe on the nose, even though I know its not in it.

Sample at the brewpub. The beer pours a clear orange-amber color with a medium thin off-white head that recedes quickly to an outer ring. Spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma of bready malt and citrus. Medium body with a citrusy hops character and flavors of caramel malt and butterscotch. The finish is fruity with a mildly bitter hops aftertaste. Decent overall.
