On tap at the Eccentric Cafe. Pours a black body with a finger-width, creamy, brown head that dissipates slowly and leaves a nice lacing. Aroma is roasty up front before a nice nutmeg, ginger, and cinammon spicing comes in as this warms. A rich chocolate backing with a light caramel. Flavor is similar. Some chocolate and roast up front before a light caramel and spice comes in. Ginger, nutmeg, and cinammon is displayed nicely towards the end as this finishes dry and lightly bitter with a nice chocolate backing. Lengthy aftertaste following a medium body and a moderate carbonation. Overall, a cool stout. Roasty and chocolatey with a nice spicing towards the end. Good beer.

On tap at eccentric cafe. Pure black pour with thin brown head, no lacing. Sour rubber and chocolate scent, a little Indian spice as well like garam masala. Medium mouth feel. Bright sweet taste at first, nutmeg and spices are evident. Mellows out to roasted flavor with some cola finish.

Had on tap at Bryant Lake Bowl in Minneapolis. I didn’t even knew who brewed it.. the waitress recommended it. Good body, but not too thick. Picked up some crazy aromas and tastes. Definitely some cloves and vanilla. Like nothing I have ever had... I ordered a second glass which I rarely do with stouts.

Kind of sounds more serious that it tastes or looks. Pours a nice dark brown with a frothy white head. Very tasty with a nutty vanilla. Spices are not overwhelming and I could just give the standard nutmeg and cinnamon answer but not so sure about that as something just tastes a bit different. Full bodied with some carbonation. This is very drinkable it is not a “winter warmer”.

On tap @ the Beer Seller in Indy. Near black pour with a creamy tan head. Aromas of cinnamon, ginger, and roasted malt. Very unique nose, not sure I’ve smelled a brew like this. Flavors of molasses, brown sugar, roasted malt, and a slight chocolate finish.
