Bottle. Poured dark but thinner than expected with small creamy head. Aroma was roasty, unidentifiable fruit, and spice. Taste of dark chocolate, fruit, some roasted coffee, sweet malt, and the belgian yeast. Thin on the palate, with little hops, and mostly sweet with a little bitterness.
Not knowing what this beer was, I was confused by what I thought was a stout. I couldnít pinpoint the flavor until I found out Belgian yeasts were used an it all made sense. Excellent experimentation by Bells.

Trade with Silphium. If anyone from Bellís reads these reviews, please consider CO distribution, you have a lot of fans here! Was not expecting a deep black pour with a quickly dissipating tan head. Yeasty and tropical fruit nose with alcohol obvious. Roast malt and chicory dominate the taste, with the warm fruit lingering. Nice!

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Smell of dark roasted malt, fruit, spiciness. Great roasted malt character, with fruits and nice lingering spiciness. Light carbonation, smooth. Great complexity that is phenomenal. This is excellent.
