Draft at Churchkey during DC Craft Beer Week. Thanks to solidfunk. Poured a golden orange color with a medium white head. Citrus notes, some pine. Decent, balance, toffee, pine. Okay, but no Two Hearted.

Not quite where two hearts is but I has that one first fresh from the source. Citrus pine and decent malt backbone. Very drinkable. Tap at Churchkey.

Draft: A bit disappointed with this one...not that its not good, it’s just way maltier than I was hoping for. It still has some of the nice grapefruit in it, but it’s mostly bready and earthy. Good, though.

Tap pour into tulip glass at Sheffield’s. Definitely a good looking copper color which complements a sweet aroma. Some citrus notes throughout but I’m getting a healthy amount of sugar too. Fulfills all of the requirements of a double IPA. Really like how this finishes. Not overly hoppy but enjoyable. Almost too run of the mill for me which will prevent it from scoring really high. A tasty choice but Hopslam is preferred.

Tap in goblet at Sheffields in Chicago. Light Copper with really nice white head and excellent lacing. Smells really pine and citrus. Slightly bitter, but has sweetness and nice mouthfeel . Finishes with some resin pine. Generally a really good dipa, leaning on the hoppier side. Very good.
