On tap at Ashley’s Ann Arbor. Pours a golden amber with a white head. Muted citrus aroma. Various hoppy flavors, floral, citrus, and pine standing out. Really good stuff.

On draft at crunchy's. A more floral and grapefruity version of Hopslam. A nice light body while keeping all the flavor.

On tap at Ashley's. Nice smooth double IPA. Clean palate. Classic hoppy aroma. Kind of like hopslam's little brother. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Snifter on tap at Hopnosis 2012. Mildly hazy amber color. Good white head, leaves good lace. Real floral, but if you’re expecting a huge DIPA, this isn’t it. What does German Style IPA mean? Bases off how it tastes, I guess it means it’s a Pilsener - IPA. Has a lot of those of pilsner style hops and malts. Surprisingly smooth and drinkable, especially for ~9%. Kind of a bigger body, smooth lighter carbonation, more dry texture. Only a hint of the alcohol in the finish. Medium bitter, light zest taste. Interesting, smooth, drinkable, kind of floral IPA, but not much "wow" about this... I suppose pilsners aren’t supposed to be "wow". It is what it is, certainly unique

Tap @ Union in Clarkston. Pours really orange/copper with a bit of foamy white head. Not an over abundance of hops on the nose, actually smelling a lot of caramel-ey toffee malts with some pine tree hanging in the background. No lacing to speak of, which is kind of a nit-picky note to harsh the beer on. The first taste crushes any ill thoughts anyhow. Big and brash but remaining balanced, to put it bluntly there is just a lot flavor here; light brown sugar, clementine, lemon zest. HUGE flavor. Long bitter finish to go with a lively mouthfeel, heck of beer. Overall, and this may sound strange, this beer is all in your face.. without being in your face.

Draft at Bryant lake bowl. Wonderful fruity, floral hop aroma. Hazy amber with a ice off white head and lovely glass clinging lace. At 8.5%abv more seasonable than Hopslam. Less balanced, weighting toward the hop. expected more but still a really good beer. Improves markedly as it warms.
