I was led to believe that this would be an excellent beer, but i would say its just good. Its a solid, enjoyable beer, but for hopheads, its not hoppy enough. For people who dont like hops, it will be too hoppy

A bit citrusy. Not much of a wheat flavor. Color was nice but didnt feel it had any true wheat beer characteristics.

Doesn’t have many characters of a wheat beer. Presents with some enjoyable flavors. True Bells style. Best taste when quite cold.

No real wheat flavours, so is this what an american wheat is supposed to be?
Malt grains with lemon and hops in the after taste. Don’t really like most wheat beers and even though this one doesn’t really taste like one it still doesn’t tickle my fancy.

Orangey amber colour, good head retention. Smells quite bad actually - loads of steamy yeast and not much else, I reckon they must have started using CUB’s yeast. Some orangey maltiness comes through as it warms. Tastes really quite good - slightly underfermented (getting back to the old style Bell’s!), juicy, chunky malt character is really nice and fresh. A fair bit of orangey flavour, presumably from a small amount of US hops, and a big, firm, extremely coarse bitterness almost certainly from PoR. Low-ish carbonation and fully body is good. I can’t help but think they filtered and kegged a tiny bit earlier than intended but it’s turned out good anyway. No wheat character that I could discern.
