From notes. Finally getting around to adding beers from the MBG Fall Beer Fest. Enjoyed on October 24. Rating number 700. The pour is a beautiful amber-ish gold color with a wonderful tan head and lovely lacing. The aroma is big on citrus hops and light caramel malts. The fact that this is advertised as an imperial red is just lovely. The flavor is quite similar, with a little more malt poking through. There is a lovely blast of floral and citrus hops on the back end. The mouth feel is smooth, creamy, with a great carbonation and lovely sticky mouth feel. The aftertaste is lovely, just citrus and lingeringly hoppy and bitter. Just great.

Pours reddish amber orange with a one finger white head with nice lacing. Aroma is of citrus, pine, tropical fruits, sweet malts, toffee, and caramel. Taste is pretty similar to the aroma. Has a medium-full body with a creamy mouthfeel with a semi-moderately bitter, semi dry, medium-long finish. Overall, a very tasty, fruity, pretty well balanced american strong that hides it high abv very well.

~5oz pour on tap at Maduro during GTMW. Mostly clear orange color. Thin off-white head. Dots and ropes of lace. Medium to bigger body. Smooth, kind of creamy, lighter carbonation. Full body. Light slick finish. Good bigger grapefruit aroma, caramel malt, light toasty / spicy. Moderate to bigger bitter taste, light to moderate sweet. Light hint of an alcohol warmth. Good bigger hoppy yet balanced smooth tasty flavorful beer.

Slightly cloudy amber pour with thin layer of beige head. Very aromatic citrus hops, grapefruit mostly. Soft carbonation, thick but foamy mouthfeel, dry effervescent boozy finish. Taste is huge, full of piney and citrus hops, citrus zest, buttery carmel malt. Big beer, great hop profile and malt. Possibly similar to or new batch of this one goes to 11?
