COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The satisfying elements of both stout and coffee come together in this full-bodied treat. A marriage of Sumatra's best with rich chocolate and roasted malt provides for a truly enlightening beer.

This brew pours black with a thin coffee-colored head. Aroma is pretty earthly and smoky with some coffee and brown sugar notes thrown in. Taste is sweet at first (cream and sugar) and then transitions into a bitter stout finish. Light to medium bodied and great for those who like coffee.

Almost too dark to distinguish color, bit mahogany seems about right. Average head, smells of GOOD coffee! Tastes of GOOD coffee! Absolutely delicious.

[12oz bottle courtesy of Bullit @ cgarvieuk tasting] As you’d expect from a coffee stout, pours black with a tan head. Quite a smoky aroma, mingling with the coffee reminded me a big of cigarettes. On the palate lots of coffee, a touch of dark chocolate and more cigs. Despite this, it was actually really good and very drinkable. Good warming finish, too [28012010]

Bottle. Pours a dark mahogany, thinner tan head. Loads of coffee in the aroma with espresso coming through, but with some slight roastedness and sweetness. Caramel is light, but coffee comes on strong in the flavor with bitter roasted malt that carries it all really well. Thinner to medium body with subtler carbonation. Great drinking, and a coffee bomb but not over the top.

Pours black with a medium tan head. Aroma is lots of coffee with some sweet notes. Flavor is rich black coffee with some sweet, roasted malt. Medium to full bodied with decent carbonation. Definitely a lot of coffee in this brew. Very tasty.
