COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The satisfying elements of both stout and coffee come together in this full-bodied treat. A marriage of Sumatra's best with rich chocolate and roasted malt provides for a truly enlightening beer.

Tap. Nice dark brown to black pour with a thin tan head. Aroma is roasted coffee. Semi carbonated mouthfeel, yet a bit creamy . Big taste of burnt/toasted coffee grounds. Maybe some herb element poking through. Good stuff.

Nearly black with a quickly diminishing tan head. Roasty coffee aroma with notes of milk chocolate. Lactose-like sweetness, roasted coffee, a slight peppery bite. Hints of black licorice linger on the tongue.

Nice beer. The aroma is huge coffee grounds. The taste is very well balanced, lots of coffee in the finish and a well temoered bitterness, but up front I got a lot of chocolate. Loved it. Definitely would pick this up again. Go Bells,

12 oz bottle from the Four Firkins. Pitch black puor with a big tan head. Intense roasted coffee aroma and the flavor is more of the same. Finish is a nice coffee bite that lingers on your tongue. If you like an intense coffee experience mixed with a big stout, this is your beer.

solid... I actually didn’t smell much coffee aroma. taste is malts, roasted, coffee - not overpowering to me... strength in very back end... beer ends with a good alcohol burn. solid beer; good for cold winter night.

Mild barley aRoma. Oily brown pour. Nolt much java present here, just a slightly bitter herbal taste.
