COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The satisfying elements of both stout and coffee come together in this full-bodied treat. A marriage of Sumatra's best with rich chocolate and roasted malt provides for a truly enlightening beer.

12 oz. bottle poured into english pint glass. Aroma: Satisfying amounts of both coffee and roasted malt hit the nose in succession. Appearance is a solid dark brown with a medium mocha head. Initial taste is is of dry, muted coffee beans. Palate quickly fills with carbonation and it finishes with notes of chocolate and coffee. Good mouth feel with a bit too much carbonation. Overall it’s a top tier coffee stout.

Good color with a timid head reducing to nothing. Strong espresso on the nose. Full nectar with ample effers. Gives a chewy texture. Huge esspresso roast and only mildly sweet. Alcohol is appearant on the finish. Pretty straightforward with mild complexity.

Talk about coffee. Pour was dark black with a brownish/reddish head. Nose is fresh bean coffee and chocolate with banana. Taste was like drinking straight coffee. A severe blend of espresso, americano, fresh ground bean and colombian, black...yet smooth and chocolate all the same. After taste remains dry with a slight bite. I would not have been surprised to have been up for 12 hours straight on this..Sometimes a brewer fuses two passions (coffee and beer) and get’s it all wrong. Bells got it all right. The two have been blended well to go hand and hand and though it’s not something you could drink all night without getting sick, it’s definitely something I’d turn to on any given cold afternoon

Bottle, This beer blew me away. It pours a jet black body with a much taller and darker brown head than some other Bells stouts. The aroma is of freshly ground coffee, roasted barley and a little peat. The flavors are mostly rich aromatic coffee, and some playfully dark malts. Nothing overpowering, and the bitterness in the dry finish was awesome. Really brought out the tannin quality in the coffee and shored up the malts from getting chewy. Very nicely done, and I am very happy to have finally had this beer.

Pours black into the glass with a beige head. Aroma is straight up coffee grounds. Flavor similarly tastes like day old coffee. This beer was just not for me. Ended up pouring half of it down the drain. GASP!

Deep black with coffee head. Aroma of coffee and roasted malt. Flavor much of the same. A real good balance of the two. finish is kind of clean in that the flavor dissapates quickly. Nice beer.

#200! 12 oz bottle. Pours near-black with a thin tan head. Aroma is dominated by coffee, but roasted malt makes its presence known as well. Roasted malt and light chocolate in the front end of the flavor, but the finish is lingering, creamy coffee. Rich, satisfying mouth feel and low carbonation.
