wow. da bomb. extreme coffee stout. sitting at the bar sampling it and talking with another patron and we agree that while it’s such a bold coffee stout there are no bad parts; indeed only good. The finish is like espresso. They have acheived a perfect balance for such a beer. Poured opaque black with tan head and good lace. Huge volatile nose of malt and dark roast coffee. Looooong finish. Would go great with chocolate. Having a mug of this at Bodega brew Pub downtown La Crosse, Wis. Usa.

Oct 16, 2008 this beer is delicious. Plain and simple. Deep, dark, and rich. I feel like I could drink this instead of coffee in the morning.

Oct 15, 2008 Pours black with tan head that slowly diminishes. Aroma is smoky and full of coffee with hints of chocolate. The body is medium to full. The taste is all about coffee. Really nice roasted flavors. with a lingering bitter finish. very nice.

Oct 15, 2008 Very good stout. Small tan head. Light on the palate which is good for this type of stout. Nose is chocolate, caramel here and there, and strong coffee. Really enjoyed this one. Cheers!

Oct 12, 2008 Pours brown with a thin tan head. Smells of coffee, chocolate, some spicy hints, roasted malt, vanilla. Tastes sweet and semi bitter with a coffee flavor that is complimentary rather than the dominant feature. Some dark fruity hints emerge on the finish. The body on this one is slick. Very enjoyable beer.
