Cruzan59 (150), Lititz, Pennsylvania, USA Apr 4, 2008 12oz bottle at Niko’s Restaurant, Lebanon, PA...pours very dark with minimal tan head...sweet malty aroma with coffee and chocolate...favor is like a cold glass of hopped up espresso, dry, slightly bitter with a hint of semi-sweet chocolate...I really enjoyed this one.
bigrond (872), factoryville, Pennsylvania, USA Oct 16, 2008 this beer is delicious. Plain and simple. Deep, dark, and rich. I feel like I could drink this instead of coffee in the morning.

Small tan head. Light on the palate which is good for this type of stout. Nose is chocolate, caramel here and there, and strong coffee. Really enjoyed this one. Cheers! jjpm74 (3161), Stratford, CT 06614, Connecticut, USA Oct 12, 2008 Pours brown with a thin tan head. Smells of coffee, chocolate, some spicy hints, roasted malt, vanilla. Tastes sweet and semi bitter with a coffee flavor that is complimentary rather than the dominant feature. Some dark fruity hints emerge on the finish. The body on this one is slick.
