4.5 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Nice aroma of coffee, roasted malt, dark chocolate, touch of molasses, light milk chocolate. Poured into the Pint very dark, with a large foamy dark tan head, that slowly became a thick creamy cap. Left thick lacing on glass. Strong, but pleasant coffee flavor with a nice bitter dark chocolate flavor, light touch of milk chocolate and a slightly burnt roasted malt flavor. While bitter, it wasnít overpowering, just a nice robust flavor.
Nice full body that is very, very creamy, very enjoyable, very smooth. Carbonation is slightly stronger than average. A long pleasant bitter finish, that wasnít overpowering but nicely robust. I enjoyed this beer quite a bit. I am not a big coffee stout fan, although I love stouts. But, this is one I will definitely have again! It is a very fine beer by Bellís, which always seems to put out very good brews. If you like coffee stouts definitely give this one a try. If you like strong coffee, strong dark chocolate, definitely give this atry. If you like stout also give it a try. Very good job by Bellís!

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
12 oz bottle. Iím not sure how in the hell I havenít rated this. Jesus. The pour is a lighter black with a thin light khaki head and a little bit of lace left behind. The aroma is good. There is a big heavy coffee from start to finish. There is a light chocolate and a light roasted malt. Itís lightly sweet with a bitter coffee. Itís pretty good. The flavor is quite similar. There is a bit more sweetness to it. The coffee is still bit and bitter. The mouth feel is thicker for a regular stout and softly carbonated. Itís almost perfect there. The coffee and chocolate is just nice. One of the better Bellís stouts
