COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The satisfying elements of both stout and coffee come together in this full-bodied treat. A marriage of Sumatra's best with rich chocolate and roasted malt provides for a truly enlightening beer.

Nice aroma of coffee, roasted malt, dark chocolate, touch of molasses, light milk chocolate. Poured into the Pint very dark, with a large foamy dark tan head, that slowly became a thick creamy cap. Left thick lacing on glass. Strong, but pleasant coffee flavor with a nice bitter dark chocolate flavor, light touch of milk chocolate and a slightly burnt roasted malt flavor. While bitter, it wasn’t overpowering, just a nice robust flavor. Nice full body that is very, very creamy, very enjoyable, very smooth. Carbonation is slightly stronger than average. A long pleasant bitter finish, that wasn’t overpowering but nicely robust. I enjoyed this beer quite a bit. I am not a big coffee stout fan, although I love stouts. But, this is one I will definitely have again! It is a very fine beer by Bell’s, which always seems to put out very good brews. If you like coffee stouts definitely give this one a try. If you like strong coffee, strong dark chocolate, definitely give this atry. If you like stout also give it a try. Very good job by Bell’s!

This is really a solid stout. I love coffee and the coffee comes through on overdrive on this one. I could drink this all night. Unfortunately I had only bought one bottle.

Bottled 8-30-13, somehow forgot to rate this last year. Pours a deep dark brown, nearly black. Head is a dark khaki color. Aroma is rich coffee, slightly sharp, slight roast, slight soy, dark chocolate. Taste is the nose with a bigger emphasis on the chocolate. Finishes bitter dark chocolate and rolls into a delectable bitter chocolate covered espresso bean. Leaves a silky velvety chocolate finish on the palate. Very reminiscent of a nice Napa Valley Cab on the finish, almost ashy. Delicious. Medium full body for 7.5% ABV. Excellent, second only to BCBCS.

bottle @ Party Town / Florence KY --- Opaque dark brown color, heavy wavy 2" brown head, mottled curtain of lace. Nice aroma of sweet coffee and malt. Taste is lightly toasted malt that adds coffee with one sugar on the swallow, followed by mild hops to finish. A solid, satisfying brew. Recommended.

12 oz Bottle. Tasted on 12/14/14. Bottle from Lukas Liquor Kansas City. Tons of coffee on the nose. Taste is smooth with a coffee bitterness followed by espresso roasted grain. Overall a very good coffee stout. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
