On tap at Fool’s Gold, New York, NY. A hazy orange/amber coloured pour with a thin white head on top. Fruity, funky, sour aroma. Tastes similar, fruity, funky, sour, some apple. Not usually my style of beer but quite interesting.

On tap at Roll Out the Barrel at the Eccentric Café. The pour is a darker amber with a thin white head and some decent lace. The aroma is surprisingly fruity and sour with no real dominating character. The flavor is much more malt based than I was expecting. There is a light sour, but there isn’t a whole lot happening there. This is somewhat disappointing. The mouth feel is thin and slick with no real carbonation to help it out. The aftertaste fades down quickly and is actually kind of forgettable. No real lingering sour as I was expecting

Aromas of cherries, baked appls, brown sugar, grapes. Hazy light brown, quite putrid looking. Fruity, earthy, funky, great balance of fruit, tartness, and subtle spice. Light-medium bodied, complex and refreshing.
