On tap during the Bellís Eccentric Cafe event at the Hungry Monk. Spicy nose, very bready with toasted cereal, caraway, and citrus. Pours a cloudy dark mandarin color with a frothy head. Muted citrus, fresh bread, a hint of Brett sourness, and some slight rye flavor. Light body, extremely drinkable.

Very nice to see a Bells brett beer. And a good example of the style - mildly funky, with good malt balance and solid but unobtrusive hops. Tasty.

Peach colour in appearance. Definitely has that sour bret yeast aroma and some taste, but with a prominent citrus note as well. Unique.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap; a deceptively complex beer. Some brett and rye in the aroma, with a bit of the NW hops. Flavor had the same type of blend and really had some nuance. I donít think it all worked for me completely, but good overall.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Draft at Trion. Tart funky barnyard, woody, caramel malt aroma. Cloudy light amber with a small ivory head. Funky barnyardy brett, light sweet malt and a hint of grassy bitterness. Light body, soft carbonation. Too bad I managed to spill this one, because I could have drunk much more.
