Nov 27, 2007 Bottle. Pours a deep brown/black, no light visable through glass. Dense brown head. Aroma of slight chocolate, maybe some roast coffee. Flavor was more of the same, chocolate, coffee and licorice, slight bitterness.

Nov 24, 2007 12 oz bottle. Batch 7752, last bottle from a year old six pack. Jet black with a thick tan head. Big roasty aroma, lots of coffee and hints of caramel. Taste has a little more chocolate with the coffee. Great stout.

Nov 23, 2007 Pours black with a thick tan head. Has a very smoky aroma with caramel and coffee. Tastes of burnt coffee beans and hazelnut. Very creamy mouthfeel with a nice dry finish.

Nov 20, 2007 Excellent. Pours dark black (redundant?), smells of roasted malts and hints of coffee. Liquorice and hops became more evident in the flavor, quite enjoyable. As it warmed, the flavors came more alive.
