COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is a full-bodied stout with plenty of roast flavor as well as hints of molasses and chocolate. Ridiculous amounts of black and caramel malts make this stout smooth, creamy, and utterly opaque.

Was a lot more pleasant than expected. Was kind of reluctant to buy because I am not a licorice fan but this one is well balanced. This just became one of my top stouts!

Bottle pour. The nose is toffee and cocoa with a sniff of drip coffee. Perfectly carbonated with a smooth mouthfeel. The liquorice back end dances with your tastebuds and gives this an extra element that elevates the beer to another level. Fantastic.

Pours black with a thin tan head that leaves some fair lacing in the glass. Aroma is coffee, chocolate, and toffee. Taste is full of dark chocolate, coffee, and roasted malt. It has a bitter sweetness on the back end. Once again, Bells does not disappoint.

This is soooo good. Like too good for words. Chocolate and toffee like crazy as soon as you pop the top. Just awesome smelling stuff. The taste is so rich and velvety. Tons of chocolate, toffee, nice maltiness. Just an exceptional stout. I think this one is probably the best I have had in a long time. I have never had a bad Bells beer. I will be adding this to my normal rotation. Cheers.

Pours black into a shaker. Creamy mocha head with excellent retention recedes leaving scant sheets. Molasses and chocolate aromas. Medium bodied with chocolate and caramel upfront turning dry in the lasting espresso finish.

Served on-tap at Hunger N Thirst.

A - Pours pitch black with a dense one and a half finger tall tan head, slowly dissipating down to a thin film, leaving thick sheets of lace on the sides of the glass.

S - Smells of coffee grounds, chocolate malt, toffee, vanilla and some smokey malt.

T - Starts off with a mix of coffee and dark roasted chocolate malt quickly being joined by the vanilla, light smoke, vanilla and a touch of bitter earthy hops. Finish is roasty with a touch of sweetness, lingering long after the finish.

M - Heavy body with moderate carbonation. Smooth, roasty feel usually wears on the palate but this one isn’t as bad.

O - A very nice stout. I love that it is only six percent, allowing you to really enjoy the beer without fear of it messing you up too bad.

The color is that of black coffee deep tan head that is dense. Smells sweet and a rich roasted malt aroma. I didn’t really pick-up any coffee or chocolate that is common in some brands. A nice roasted malt taste, maybe some hops for balance. it does have a drier finish. Porter like. Smooth and balance with some heaviness to it. Good flavor for this style. Drink well my friends
