Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, caramel, chocolate, coffee, coffee dusty. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration. Body is medium to full, texture is oily - creamy - smooth, carbonation is soft - flat. (180608)

A pitch black beer with no head. The aroma is of coffee and bitter chocolate - lovely. The flavor is sweet and yet bitter from coffee notes and bitter chocolate notes combined with hints of smoke. A really great beer. Thanks to Mads Berg for sharing this jewel of a beer.

From 33 cL bottle. Pours hazy brown with a very short living head. Aroma is raisin and malty sweet. Flavour is thick malty, sliht wineous and mild raisin flavoured. Minor liqourice note. Dry into a light spiced finish.

Bottled. Very opaque black colour with mediumsized brown head. Aroma is dark chocolate, licorace, coffee and some vanilla. Flavour is leather, coffee, chocolate and licorace. Not very much roasted notes when cold. When getting warmer there are some, especially in the aftertaste. Really wellbrewed thing.

Black with a medium beige head. Sweet aroma with roasted malt, chocolate and caramel notes. Flavour had dark bitter chocolate, burned malt, coffee and toffee notes. Finished sweet. Perfect balance and a nice mouthfeel.
