This is a full-bodied stout with plenty of roast flavor as well as hints of molasses and chocolate. Ridiculous amounts of black and caramel malts make this stout smooth, creamy, and utterly opaque.

Solid overall stout with everything you’d expect, both in malt and body. Nothing spectacular in comparison to others, but nonetheless right where it should be. As good to style as any.

Zlotta (1329) - Amstelveen, NETHERLANDS - MAY 28, 2016
0.355 l bottle from ’Saveur Bière’, bottled in January 2016. Pitch black with a medium large, stable, dense, light brown head. Sweetish-malty, moderately roasty aroma of dark chocolate, coffee, licorice, toasted nuts and hints of raisins. Sweetish-malty, moderately roasty taste of dark chocolate, coffee powder, licorice and some vanilla, followed by a medium long, medium roasty-bitter finish. Medium to full body, fairly creamy mouthfeel, soft to average carbonation. Superbly balanced, quite intense and really good body for that abv. Maybe not that complex, but very tasty and round. Good!

Bottle, 355ml. Opaque dark brown with a creamy brown head. Sourish aromas of roasted malts, dried fruits, molasses. Medium to robust bodied with moderate to fizzy carbonation. Smooth and oily. Medium to low sweet, with medium bitterness and a slight sourness. Deep roasted character into a sourish finish. Unusual, but quite pleasant.

0,33l bottle. Thick black colour with slowly shrinking beutiful and fomay surprisingly brown head. Aroma: Coffee, roasted toast, vanilia, almond and other nuts, Very complex. Taste: Very-very smooth texture. Well balanced sweet/sour/bitter taste, than slowly the bitter wins the fight. Warming feel. The coffee taste dominates but has so many notes. Medium/full bodied with soft carbonation. Long and intense bitter finish. This is an amazing beer one of the best of it’s style.

355 ml bottle, pkgd 01/27/16, from Saveur Bière. Thanks to Werckmeister!
Pitch black body, with a small, creamy, coffee-colored head.
Aroma of espresso, liquorice, wood, soy sauce, ash, cocoa, dark chocolate, dark fruits.
Taste follows this, but not fully as rich as the nose.
Full, creamy mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes roasty-bitter, dry, wooden, with liquorice, coffee, soy sauce, ash, some cocoa.

Very nice, although I was expecting a bit more. The nose is really big for the ABV, taste is a bit more one-dimensional, although still enjoyable and very well balanced. Overall not among my favourite Stouts, but a really good one I would drink again.
