COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
As refreshingly crisp as a morning swim in a Great Lake, this brew is crafted with Pils and Munich malts. The pronounced hop character of this golden lager sparks thoughts of sandy beaches and rocky islands.

Typical American style lager. Fits the style well. Crisp, clear, slight hop aroma. Not my favorite but you have to judge it for what it is so it gets style points from me. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Yellow with a white head. Aroma is grain and grass. Flavor is similar with a low amount of bitterness. Thin mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

Pours a clear mid yellow with a bit of head and a ton of active carbonation. Smell is slightly sweet and a bit of floral hops, but not very strong at all. Palate is as expected, light bodied and not a lot of carbonation. Taste is quite weak, slightly sweet overall and it lingers a bit. Yup, it’s a lager.

Pours gold with white head and nice lacing. Aroma of floral hops. Taste is heavy grain and bitter on the backend.

Bottle poured into a lager glass. Soap-like head that quickly disappears. Extremely pale yellow color. Faint fruity aroma with some straw. Thin feel but that’s true to the style. Pretty standard.

12 oz bottle. Pale yellow, soapy white head disappears into absolutely nothing; minimal lacing. Aroma bread, yeast. Flavor light and crisp, touch of grass, quite light yet pleasant sharp bitterness through the finish; dry finish. Medium-thin body. Nothing offensive but unimpressive; it destroys mass market lagers but otherwise I can’t imagine buying this again.

Bottle to pint, bottled under the name "Lager of the Lakes." Clear golden pour with white head. Classic pilsner scent, however not offensive like many of its peers. Taste is grainy, crisp, not bad for a lager but certainly nothing special.

Appearance: Looks like a decent APL ought to look ... a light amber color. Completely clear. No head to speak of, patchy lacing, and some nice carbonation. Smell: Pepe Le Pew, is that you? Super skunky ... smells like an adjunct, and I can’t say I’m too fond of it. Super skunky + malt aroma. It also sort of smells like rubber bands... Taste: The skunk/rubber band comes out a bit at the front of each sip, but it goes away and the finish leaves a nice bit of hops and even more malts on the finish. Subtle, but not too shabby. I wasn’t expecting a good taste at all after the smell. Considering the style, this isn’t too bad at all for a pale lager. The feel is pretty light with some prickly carbonation... to be expected. Overall, a fair camping/lawn mower/beach beer, but other than that, eh. Not a terrible beer, but not something that even warrants being poured into a pint glass. The smell’s a bit of a turn off, but it’s not too bad as a whole. Wouldn’t buy a six pack, but would be a fair choice of light beer to have on a hot day in Michigan.

Bottle; Pour is clear light/medium gold with a modest white head in this glass. Retention is average here , moving to a ring and haze fairly quickly. The nose is baked bread, caramel, grain here - The flavor profile begins on the caramel malt side, moving to spent grains, bread, while revealing some light grass , and sliding into a certain bitterness , coupled with some adjunct. Moral of the story, an easy drinker, but not quite the quality I was looking for
