2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 BeerBunker (709) - Burbank, Illinois, USA - FEB 21, 2009

12 oz. bottle. Pours a clear golden with a medium lasting white head. Aroma is moderately sweet, pale malt, and lightly floral. The flavor has more moderate sweetness, pale malt, light citrus hops, and grains. Light to medium mouthfeel. I’m sure if you like the style that this is very drinkable; it’s not my thing.

bottle - poured a golden straw color with foamy white head that faded quickly.
Aroma - toasted grains, smelled like cherrios!
Flavor - very grainy but not that bad.
Palate - smooth and crisp with dry slightly bitter finish.
Overall - I’m not a huge fan of lagers but this beer was ok.

2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 JimboHD2005 (8) - Plainfield, Illinois, USA - JAN 31, 2009 does not count
12 oz bottle poured into a Sam Adams glass. Is clear light yellow straw color and the head disapates quickly.
Has a scent of spicy hops.
Has a bitter taste from the hops. Similar to the dortunder style if a little more maltier.
Nice beer for the warmer months and has more fullness than the color of the beer would suggest. I’m thinking grilled burgers, chicken, chops, steaks.
A decent beer overall but at $10.00 a six’r not sure it’s something I would consider a session beer.
