2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Tap at Lazy Dog. Pours a slightly hazy pale yellow with a thin layer of cream colored head. Aroma of malts. Taste pretty much the same. A higher end regular lager.

This is not at all what I expected from Bell’s. The local brewer’s worst offering tastes a lot like this....not good.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
A- Pours a golden hue with a small, off white head.
S- Smells bready with light herbal hoppiness.
T- Wheat, light hop notes, bready
M- Medium/think bodied with medium carbonation.
D- This beer, while not terrible, really just fades into the fray for me. With so many other great session beers out there i’m not quite sure why you would pick this one.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Reviewed from notes. Consumed 10/09/12 when I was visiting Michigan.
The appearance was a light golden yellow colored body and gives a white, fizzy, thin head, a fair amount of carbonation rises quickly. Some ever light ringy lacing appears and slides gently down the sides of the glass.
The smell had a maltiness with a light presence of hops in the background. There is also a strong butteriness as well.
The taste was basically the same.
The palate was light, creamy and pretty carbonated on the tongue, fairly sessionable.
Overall, this is a pretty good American Pale Lager.

3.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
This draft brew from a restaurant poured a head of foamy white colored bubbles that were fully diminished and left behind a typically carbonated transparent light yellow orange colored body. The mild aroma was malty. The sharp crisp mouth feel was very tingly at the start and at the finish with a biting hoppy aftertaste. The sharp flavor contained notes of hops. Delicious and one I would certainly like to have again.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Poured an unclear light golden. (Was warmed and cooled a number of times) Small tight creamy white head, fairly lasting with lace. Aroma is yeasty, pale malty. Grassy, light citrus, soft grain, cracker, tipping to sweet. Quite aromatic for a lager. Flavor follows. Crisp, creamy, and refreshing. Almost medium body. Nice bit of earthy grassy bitterness. Balanced sweetness. Finishes dry. Tasty. Easy drinking. Great lager.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Yeasty, citrus aroma. A little malt, crusty/cracker-y. Taste is a little sweeter/more citrusy than I expected from the aroma. Light, sweet, citrus, very refreshing.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Small sized white foamy head. The aroma is cereal and grass, some hops. A medium bodied pilsner. The malts are fruity and sweet. The hops are spicy and a touch floral. Lively carbonation. Nice pilsner. Clean and crisp tasting. There are enough hops to balance the cereal malt. Would make a good summer session beer. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter. "

Bottle from Save On. 3.5 months old. Very pale golden straw with slight chill haze flat white head and lace. Slight skunky hop aroma almost like Saison Dupont (saaz?) with some grass and bread. Dry grassy crackery with minimal sweetness and medium assertive lingering grassy bitterness. Very good.
