As refreshingly crisp as a morning swim in a Great Lake, this brew is crafted with Pils and Munich malts. The pronounced hop character of this golden lager sparks thoughts of sandy beaches and rocky islands.

Expensive for a lawn mower beer. Rated this with another app and BeerBuddy unfortunately won't let me import comments.

Bottle. Pours a clear yellow color with white head. Light, grainy, malty flavors. Nice, easy drinking lager.

The Lager of the Lakes pours a clear gold color with with an off white head that leaves some lacing. The aroma is a little lemon, earthy and a hint of honey. The flavor is earthy mostly with pine and lemon. Overall the brew is pretty decent. Good for the warm summer days. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from unknown via Darton. Pours a clear golden straw, decent amount of white head, which dissipates quickly. Lots of carbonation. Aroma slight, mealy maltiness with just a hint of grassiness. Body lively, crisp, finish surprisingly with amount of bitterness, long lasting. Nice, but I’d rather drink a nice NW Kolsch or a Weihenstephaner if I’m going this route.

Bottle pour into a pint glass for this brew. One of the better lagers I’ve had. Clean crisp and hoppy.

This is a lager with some style and class. This is how it should be done. Not my favorite style, but it comes correct.

Pours completely clear light straw in color with a white head. The aroma brings some sweet pilsner malts and just a tad of funk faded in the background. The body is not too crisp, but just a bit higher than expected on carbonation, a bit too light on the mouthfeel though. The flavor is lightly sweetened malts and the ending has a hint of grassy bitterness, but smooth and vague.

Aroma is very clean caramel malt with a touch of floral hop notes. Taste is again very clean, smooth bitterness and crisp maltiness.

Faint fruit and grain on the nose. Really smooth lager. Better than macro brews but just not enough going on for me to try again.

A delicious and refreshing lager, not boring. Moderate hops for the style. Great summer beer .
