COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
As refreshingly crisp as a morning swim in a Great Lake, this brew is crafted with Pils and Munich malts. The pronounced hop character of this golden lager sparks thoughts of sandy beaches and rocky islands.

Bottle. It is what it is and its pretty good for what it is. Clear light yellow pour with large white head. Wheat and grain aroma. Slightly bitter in the finish. High on my list of "premium" lagers

UPDATED: APR 8, 2014 Bottle: Bright goldenrod, with only a mild chill haze obscuring it; topped with a thin, bone-white film that is gone in a few moments. Aroma is plentiful on the grains, light bread notes, toast, and even a dollop of sweet-ish caramel/toffee. Musty and metallic, dried up hops hit in the finish. Taste contains grain, bread, a very small hint of sweet toffee, some musty hops, a finishing hint of lemon zest, a touch of lager yeast and a slight metallic tone. Not the best lager out there, but not bad. Refreshing.

Pours a light yellow. Some nice corn and Apple aromas. Sweet corn flavours with some bitterness at the end. Not bad.

Clear yellow color. Slight wheat aroma and flavor. Refreshing beer on a hot day, but very light in flavor.

Expensive for a lawn mower beer. Rated this with another app and BeerBuddy unfortunately won't let me import comments.

Bottle. Pours a clear yellow color with white head. Light, grainy, malty flavors. Nice, easy drinking lager.

The Lager of the Lakes pours a clear gold color with with an off white head that leaves some lacing. The aroma is a little lemon, earthy and a hint of honey. The flavor is earthy mostly with pine and lemon. Overall the brew is pretty decent. Good for the warm summer days. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from unknown via Darton. Pours a clear golden straw, decent amount of white head, which dissipates quickly. Lots of carbonation. Aroma slight, mealy maltiness with just a hint of grassiness. Body lively, crisp, finish surprisingly with amount of bitterness, long lasting. Nice, but I’d rather drink a nice NW Kolsch or a Weihenstephaner if I’m going this route.

Bottle pour into a pint glass for this brew. One of the better lagers I’ve had. Clean crisp and hoppy.

This is a lager with some style and class. This is how it should be done. Not my favorite style, but it comes correct.
