COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Nicely balanced, Bell’s Lager Beer focuses on the flavors developed in the brew house, matching a crisp bitterness & distinctive herbal hop aromas to a simple yet firm malt backbone. Following in the tradition of Bohemian-style pilsners, this beer spends a full six weeks maturing in the fermentation vessels. This extended conditioning period refines the overall flavor, highlighting the contributions of the malts & hops.

Bell’s Lager (of the Lakes) drinks like an Americanized German Pils but with more hop bitterness... if that makes any goddamn sense? Yeah, I’ll stick with that. Pale color and white suds. Starchy cereal grain aromatics and starting impression on the tongue. Bitter grassy hops in the finish. Definitely refreshing and easygoing.

Pours a clear golden yellow on tap with thin white head that dissipates to leave good lace. Aroma of light malts and crisp yeast esters. Taste follows, clean and easy, a hint of earthy hops. Light and simple, what you expect.
