COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The second in the series, Le Pianiste starts as a malt forward beer, combining biscuity, breadcrust notes with a light caramel flavor. Noticeably dry, the finish is crisp with a lively, refreshing acidity.

On draft at Sidetrack. The pour is a nice orangey gold. Nice clingy lace. Aroma is somewhat citrusy, more Belgian than anything. Nice hoppiness and fruitiness. Not crazy the Belgian type of flavors coming through. Mostly hoppy and Belgian. Not bad, but not my bread and butter by any means ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft at Bell's 28th birthday party at Reno's East. Light gold with a white head. Slightly sweet aroma. Not much of anything. Thicker than expected.

All Pints North, 2013. I was surprised I had not rated this. Dry and herbal with spices and flowers. The yeast is there. Good palate, and it doesn’t have the dry, dusty quality of so many biere de garde beers past their prime by the time they get to the states.

4oz pour at Churchkey’s Bells event during DC Beer Week 2013. Pours a hazy caramel amber with one ring of off white head. Nose is mild, orange, fruit, pear, candy sugar. Sweet flavor, malt, oranges, pears, candy. Dry, fruity finish. Good example of the style.

Draft at Churchkey for a Bells tap takeover event. Slightly hazy orange pour, with a medium-to-small head. Aroma was some light sweet notes, touch of citrus, spices. Flavor was a touch herbal, some earthy character to it. Creamy, a bit silky. Pretty good.

Draft at the Eccentric Café, Kalamazoo. Murky medium orange-brown body, thin to medium cream head. Estery nose with clove and light fruits. Breast, toasty body with clove and banana, but dry with a bitter, dusty finish. Like a dry dunkelweizen.

Tap at APN. Pour is a hazy amber, tons of biscuity malts. Was refreshing at the time, palate was a mess but this stood out. Decent caramel, finished nice and dry.

On tap at All Pints North. Hazy light amber. Light and refreshing. Sweet biscuit taste and slightly floral. The guy pouring it was having a good time making people say the name. SAY IT!
